Founding of the Association

Le Cercle De la Compliance ‘LCDC’, an association abiding by the law of July 1st, 1901, was founded in 2011 and continues to be governed by Mr. Daniel Tricot.
Le Cercle was created following a conference on ‘corporate challenges and Compliance,’ based on the experiences of a CEO and
Compliance Officers, and which led to a lot of interest and exchanges.

Globalization and the financial crisis have shown how important it is for this field to be further developed and that Compliance measures can be a real strength in terms of competitiveness for companies. Only senior leadership can legitimize, support and advance compliance strategies with a realistic, operational and committed process.
The involvement of presidents and senior leadership is vital if employees are to be active participants in the implementation of a Compliance program.
