The organization for compliance professionals

Based on the conviction that collaborative work between French compliance professionals brings a new approach to the management of risks, the organization Le Cercle de la Compliance was created in 2011.

Le Cercle de la Compliance is an organization created in 2011. It brings together compliance professionals from all backgrounds, both inhouse (compliance officers, corporate counsels, auditing managers, internal auditing, supply chain, purchasing, human resources) and outhouse (law firms, consultants and CompTechs who are compliance service providers).

Le Cercle’s mission is to make compliance known in France vis-à-vis general counsels, compliance specialists and general management.

Le Cercle organizes major events, conferences, breakfasts and other panels, led by French and foreign experts and specialists.

Le Cercle also develops collaborations and partnerships in France and abroad: the C5, Ethisphere, the AFJE, Thomson Reuters (Refinitiv), the Business & Legal Forum, Dauphine University and Paris II University.

In 2017, in keeping with its desire to share, Le Cercle inaugurated a new form of exchange and collaboration: Le Cercle’s workshops, which is an opportunity for its members to compare their analyses and to discuss their points of view and feedback on experience about issues at the heart of their concerns.

With more than 200 members represented by more than 350 compliance professionals, Le Cercle de la Compliance organizes workshops, training, conferences, dinners and seminars in key areas of compliance (governance, anti-corruption, anti-trust, human rights, international sanctions and export control, etc.) promoting opportunities for sharing and networking.

In 2018, compliance officers are in the spotlight. By creating Le Cercle de la Compliance, we have the ambition of giving them the tools to make companies business partners and stakeholders in creating value.

Le Cercle now emphasizes compliance stakes involving data, combining human rights and compliance and technology, which enables compliance to be effective.

Join Le Cercle so that together we can make compliance, today and tomorrow, a performance lever in companies.
